Overall, the unit is pretty good with respect to functionality. The biggest downside is that the designers mixed up the order of the pins on the DSI connector and you will only be able to use the screen with their supplied, nonstandard 10cm cable. Another reviewer provided pictures of how the ends of the cable are problematic. If you want to use this as a touch screen that is not directly next to your Raspberry Pi, you'll need to cut off one end of a new cable and sand down the plastic insulation to expose the wires. You'll also want to reinforce the back with tape so that the connector can grip it.

I received my item and excitedly unwrapped it along with the Pi 3 that I had just purchased. After following a five minute tutorial, I was able to connect it flawlessly on the first try. The screen is beautiful, and I tested it on RetroPie and Ubuntu Mate with zero issues. I am very pleased with my purchase.
