Had an issue out of the box, but OSOYOO made it right

When I got my kit and started on Lesson 1, one of the wheels just wasn't responding. Pretty frustrating when you're excited to dive in. I reached out to OSOYOO's tech support, and after some back and forth troubleshooting, we figured out the problem — the 6-pin Motor X cable was defective. Not exactly what you want to hear, but OSOYOO sent me a replacement cable within a week, no hassle. Once the new cable arrived, everything worked perfectly. The car has been running great ever since with no issues. It's a little disappointing to have a defective part right out of the box, but I have to say — the way they handled it was professional and prompt. Stuff happens with hardware, and what matters is how a company responds. OSOYOO passed that test.

Great value, solid build — IR remote is the only weak spot

Overall I'm really happy with this kit. The packaging looks sharp and professional, and the build quality feels sturdy for the price. Honestly, for what you get, the value here is hard to beat. My only real gripe is that the IR remote control can be a little flaky — sometimes it picks up the signal right away, other times it takes a few tries. That said, it's really not a big deal because the WiFi and Bluetooth control options work beautifully and are way more fun to use anyway. At this point I barely even bother with the IR remote. If you're thinking about skipping this kit because of IR complaints you've read, don't let that stop you — it's a minor issue on a very capable little car.
